The MATY certification follows the person. No matter where you go or who you are employed by, you will always carry your MATY certification with you. Although your employer at the time of your certification is listed on your certificate, that does not preclude you from using your MATY certification with another employer.

Your MATY certification will not ever expire.

No. Once you are certified on the MATY curriculum, it will not ever be necessary to retake the course. An annual refresher is required within your own facility, but there will never be another course to take or fee to pay.

The MATY program is taught in a minumum of 16 hours, typically broken into two 8 hour sessions. However, if needed, the MATY class can take longer than 16 hours if needed.

There is a student to teacher ratio of 8:1 in all MATY classes. Multiple Trainers or Master Trainers will sometimes work together to accommodate larger class sizes.
